Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- Your first name and last name
- Your email address
- The content of your message
When you visit our website, we may also collect limited technical information through Squarespace Analytics (see the Cookies section below).
We do not ask for, or intentionally collect, special category data (such as health, religion, or political views). Please do not include sensitive information in your message — if you need to share something sensitive, contact us first and we will agree a secure way to do so.
Information we collect when you purchase a programme or subscription
If you purchase an Armoured for Ageing programme or subscription, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Billing and subscription information
- Limited payment-related information provided through our payment processor
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full card details.
We may also collect information relating to your interaction with programme emails and video content in order to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information and our lawful basis
Reading and replying to your enquiry
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests — it is in our interest, and yours, that we can respond to people who contact us.
Keeping a record of correspondence in case you follow up later
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests — maintaining a reasonable record of our dealings with enquirers.

Providing programme access, subscription management, workout delivery emails, customer support, and service-related communications
Lawful basis: Performance of a contract — this processing is necessary in order to provide the programme or subscription you have purchased.
We will not add you to marketing mailing lists solely because you submit a contact form enquiry.
If you purchase an Armoured for Ageing programme or subscription, we will use your email address to send essential service communications relating to your subscription, including welcome emails, workout session links, programme updates, account information, and customer support communications.
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing emails unrelated to your active subscription or enquiry.
Who we share your information with
We share your information only with the following service providers, who act on our instructions:
- Squarespace — our website host and the platform that processes contact form submissions, manages subscriptions, and stores customer information. Squarespace is based in the United States.
- Google Workspace (Google LLC) — used to receive, read, and reply to enquiries and customer emails. Google is based in the United States.
- Stripe — our payment processor used to securely process subscription payments and recurring billing. Stripe may process your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Squarespace Email Campaigns — used to send programme-related emails, including workout session links and customer communications.
- Vimeo — used to host private workout videos accessed through programme emails.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
If we are ever legally required to disclose information (for example, in response to a valid court order or regulatory request), we will do so only to the extent required.
International transfers
Because Squarespace, Google Workspace, Stripe, and Vimeo may process information outside the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred internationally when you use our website or services.
These transfers are protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or other approved contractual safeguards used by these providers.

Programme participation and health information
Armoured for Ageing provides movement and educational content designed to support general wellbeing, mobility, and confidence in movement.
We do not request or intentionally collect detailed health or medical information through the website or subscription process. Please avoid sending sensitive medical information by email unless specifically requested.
Participation in any movement programme is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion. The information provided through Armoured for Ageing is educational in nature and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have concerns about your health or suitability for exercise, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
How long we keep your information
Contact form enquiries and related correspondence: kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted, unless we need to keep them longer to comply with a legal obligation or to deal with a dispute.
Subscription and programme-related records: retained for as long as your subscription remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, legal, customer support, and service administration purposes.
Analytics data: retained in line with Squarespace’s default retention periods; this data is not linked to your name or email.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Squarespace Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This relies on cookies that are considered “non-essential” under UK law, so we only use them if you give consent via our cookie banner when you first visit.
You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site, which will bring the banner back on your next visit.
Strictly necessary cookies — used to make the site function and keep it secure — are always on and do not require consent.
