  • Armoured Online is specifically designed for adults with reduced strength, balance, confidence, or mobility — particularly those who may feel unsure where to begin with movement.

    It is suitable for people who:

    • have not exercised for a long time

    • feel weaker or less steady than they used to

    • are rebuilding confidence after illness, injury, or inactivity

    • want to keep moving safely and independently

    Our oldest current member is 92 years young.

  • Not at all.

    The programme is designed to be approachable, gentle, and easy to follow — even if you have never had a movement practice before.

  • Very little.

    Most sessions use:

    • a sturdy chair

    • a wall

    • a small step or low platform (optional for some movements)

    • any support you would normally use for balance

    The movements are designed to be practical and accessible at home.

  • The sessions are intentionally short and manageable.

    Each movement is performed for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of rest.

    The goal is consistency and confidence — not exhaustion.

  • You will receive:

    • two guided follow-along movement sessions per week
      directly to your inbox.

    Your first session is sent shortly after joining, with the second arriving a few days later.

  • That is completely okay.

    Every movement includes different options, including seated, supported, and standing variations where appropriate.

    There is absolutely no pressure to choose the more difficult option. The programme is designed to meet you where you are.

  • Yes.

    You can pause, rest, replay, or watch the session beforehand whenever you like.

    You are encouraged to move at your own pace.

  • The programme has been specifically designed with older adults and reduced mobility in mind.

    However, everybody is different. Please consult your doctor or healthcare professional before beginning if you have concerns about your health or suitability for exercise.

    You should stop immediately if anything feels painful, unsafe, or unwell.

  • No.

    Armoured Online provides educational movement sessions designed to support general wellbeing, mobility, balance, confidence, and strength.

    It is not medical treatment, physiotherapy, or a substitute for medical advice.

  • Your sessions are delivered directly to your email inbox.

    Each email contains a simple button linking you to your private guided movement session.

  • No.

    The programme has been designed to be as simple and accessible as possible.
